Acceptable File Types and Sizes for Upload as Attachments

The table below details the acceptable file types and sizes that can be uploaded as attachments to ConstructEx items.

The following information applies to all attachments:

We recommend that scanned PDFs have a resolution of 150 dpi. A higher resolution is not necessary and can cause longer upload/download times for other users. Appropriate file sizes also increase the speed and performance of the web-based markup tools.

  • All PDF files should be flattened before being uploaded into ConstructEx. You can use Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, or other similar software to flatten PDF files. PDF files not flattened before upload may result in issues being processed by the system.
