Stamping Options for Submittals

There are three ways a submittal can be electronically stamped:

A submittal can be electronically stamped manually by using the built in Markup Tools (click here to learn more). This is the only means for a consultant, whose stamp will not appear on every submittal, to stamp a submittal. This option may also be utilized by the design team leader and/or contractor on a project.

A blank submittal stamp can be burned into the submittal cover sheet. The built in Markup Tools would be used to check the correct review status.

A blank submittal stamp can be burned into the submittal cover sheet and the system can automatically fill it out. The built in Markup Tools are not required for this method. The data from the system is mapped into the submittal cover sheet.

It is not recommended that consultant/secondary reviewer stamps are burned into the cover because they may not always be needed.

Please contact support via the Customer Community for assistance with creating the cover sheet.
