Draft vs. Issued Design/Bid Packages

A package is either in draft mode or issued mode.

For the design phase, the design and construction teams each have their own drafts. Each team can only see their own drafts. For example, the design team cannot see construction team drafts.

Once a package is issued any user on the project can view it.

Issued packages cannot be edited. To make changes you must first reopen the package, which puts it back into draft mode.

The recommended option for making changes to a package is to create a revised package rather than reopening the package. This preserves the contents of the original package.
