Upload For Record Submittals

Perform the following steps to upload “For Record” submittals.

To upload “For Record” submittals

An administrator should edit the project’s module configuration settings to include the “For Record” submittal type.

“For Record” submittals can be uploaded like any other submittal. Be sure to select the “For Record” submittal type.

If the submittal was submitted by a subcontractor, the contractor should close the submittal out.

If the submittal was created by the contractor, the contractor should save it as a draft and then close it out.

When closing the submittal, the contractor has the opportunity to notify any user of the submittal’s existence.

The submittal bypasses the review process, noting that it was closed by the contractor.
