Clear the Browser Cache (Temporary Internet Files) and Cookies

You may need to clear your cache and cookies if a page is acting strangely or the text/images are not displaying correctly.

The instructions for the version of your browser may be different. Also, you may need to restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

To clear the browser cache for Internet Explorer

Select Tools > Internet Options.

On the General tab in the Browsing History section, click Delete.

Select Temporary Internet Files and Website Files and Cookies and Website Data.

Click Delete.

 

To clear the browser cache for Firefox

Select History > Clear Recent History.

Select Time Range to Clear: Everything (use caution!), Browsing and Download History, Cookies and Cache.

Click Clear Now.

 

To clear the browser cache for Google Chrome

Click the icon in the upper-right corner (3 horizontal lines).

Select History.

Select Clear Browsing Data.

Select The Beginning of Time from the drop-down menu.

Select Browsing History, Download History, Cookies and Other Site and Plug-in Data and Cached Images and Files.

Select Clear Browsing Data.
