Answer an RFI as a Design Team Leader (Architect) User

Perform the following steps to answer an RFI as a design team leader (architect) user.

To answer an RFI as a design team leader (architect) user

Select the icon next to the RFI in the RFIs module to return it.

On the Return RFI page, enter the answer in the Architect Answer section.

If consultants are involved and you would like to review their responses, their responses are located in the section labeled Answers.

If desired, edit the Trade/Discipline or Category information.

Use the markup tools to add redlines to an attached document. Click here for an introduction to the markup tools.

If desired, upload an attachment and/or link the document to another document within the system.

A maximum of 50 attachments can be uploaded to an RFI.

Use the Add/Edit Notification Users link in the Notify the Following Users section to notify any desired users.

Select Return to finalize the answer to the RFI. Upon return, if the RFI includes a marked-up PDF, the design team’s markups are flattened permanently into the PDF.
