Share BIM and CAD Files

Large files such as Revit, Archicad or AutoCAD files can be distributed by any user by creating shared folders. Users must have the necessary access permissions to create shared folders. ConstructEx users can then view and download the files.

It is also possible to share the contents of a shared folder with external users who do not have a ConstructEx username or password by creating an external weblink.

Newforma ConstructEx is not intended for archiving multiple versions of BIM and CAD files. Do not store multiple revisions of BIM and CAD files that are out of date. Keeping only current files live avoids confusion, saves storage space and simplifies searching and navigation for users.
