Delete a Message Category

You must be a Project Administrator to delete a message category.

To delete a message category

Select Edit Categories from the right navigation panel in the Message Forums module.

On the Forum Category Configuration page, click the icon next to the category you want to delete and confirm the deletion.

A message category cannot be deleted if messages exist within the category.

If a category was created by the project administrator for the design team it can be deleted only by that user or another design team administrator. Similarly, any category created by a project administrator from the construction team can only be deleted by that user or another construction team administrator.
