Add/Edit Custom Construction Phase Document Types

Each ConstructEx project starts with the standard AIA document terminology, but you can edit and add document types as needed to track any document type.

Perform the following steps to add or edit custom construction phase document types.

You must be a Project Administrator to add or edit document types.

To add or edit custom construction phase document types

Select Administration > Module Configuration from the Construction Phase Documents module.

Scroll down to the Document Types section on the Module Configuration page.

Enter the abbreviation and description for the new document type in the last row. You can also edit values for existing document types.

Add standard legal text for each document type as needed.

A document type can only be deleted if no documents exist under that document type.

Click Save Settings to save your changes.
