Add a Prefix to an RFI

Project Administrators may add/edit/delete custom RFI Types for a project. When an RFI type is created, a prefix can be associated with the RFI type. This prefix is automatically added to all RFIs created using the selected type.

To add a prefix to an RFI Type

Select Administration > Module Configuration from the right navigation panel in the RFIs module.

Scroll down to the RFI Types section. Add a new RFI type in the last field and enter a prefix in the Prefix field.

Click Save Settings to save your changes.

You can edit the prefix for existing RFI types, but be aware that the numbering for the RFI type does not restart if the prefix is changed.
